The fall season is the main regular hockey season for high school hockey in Illinois. The FV Hawks compete in the IHSHL North Central Hockey League and fields teams at both the Varsity and JV levels. Our league has multiple divisions at both the varsity and jv levels, allowing us to place our teams appropriately for their level of play.

• Players must be a student attending one of our 5 high schools: St Charles North, St Charles East, Batavia, Kaneland, Geneva.
• Players must be in 9th - 12th grades for the current school year.
• Players must renew their USA Hockey membership prior to registering.
• All players born in 2007 or earlier will need to complete USA Hockey mandated SafeSport training prior to evaluations.

• Two on-ice practices weekly at Fox Valley Ice Arena
• IHSHL League Regular Season games (est. 20-25 games) - Sept. - Jan.
• Additional Non-division games (est. 2-5 games)
• IHSHL League Playoffs (est. 4-6 games) - February
• Thanksgiving Tournament (4-5 games) - Weekend of Thanksgiving
• Potential extra tournament or Thanksgiving tournament alternate
• IL High School State Tournament Playoffs (dependent on team’s standings and FV Hawks Board approval) - Feb. - March
• Top Golf Team Event - September or October
• Team Holiday Party
• End of Season Banquet (Player and two guests covered) - Mid-March
• Fund raising/ Manager & Coaches gifts/ etc. (No additional costs at FV Hawks!)**

**There is absolutely NO required fund raising, NO slush funds and NO additional/hidden fees throughout the season at FV Hawks. There is an optional fund raising basket raffle at the end of year banquet.

All players that do not already have our current Fall Regular Season Uniforms MUST purchase a set with the completion of their season registration. This consists of the home jersey, away jersey, a pair of home socks and a pair of away socks. 

Returning players ordering new uniforms will automatically be assigned the same number. Players who played in spring but are new fall season players, will automatically be assigned their spring number. Our Regular Season Fall jerseys are different than our spring jerseys. Spring jerseys can be used as practice jerseys during the season. Spring/practice jerseys can be purchased from our Squadlocker team store on the website. 

Customized team equipment bags and additional pairs of game socks can be ordered with the season registration as add-on items.

Team jackets and other team gear including t-shirts, sweatshirts and other items can be ordered anytime from our Squadlocker team store on the website.

Players are allowed to double roster with other clubs, however, AHAI requires them to attend at least 75% of their Hawks team games. Players are responsible for communicating with their coaches if/when they will be missing any team functions.

NEW IHSHL RULE: Tier 1 AAA players are no longer eligible to compete at any high school hockey level.
